You'll take a short trip to the Red Square using Moscow Metro which the most beautiful and second most efficient subway system in the world! After having short metro experience you'll find yourself in the heart of Moscow - Red Square. You will find out why it's named so (and no, not because of color!), walk the same paving stone as the Red Army in 1941, see the Lenin Mausoleum (visit inside if interested to see his body), and stroll along the world-known Department Store "GUM". You'll make a stop at the Unknown Soldier memorial in Alexander Garden and watch the change of the guard if time allows.

Next you will see several sights by car including Bolshoi Theatre - the world-famous theatre for ballet and opera, the former KGB headquarters, a monument to the monks who wrote the Cyrillic alphabet, the birthplace of Mikhail Romanov - the first of the Romanov dynasty.

Moving along the river, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Kremlin and its massive fortress towers. Your next stop will be to visit inside the biggest Orthodox Cathedral in Russia "Cathedral of Christ the Savior." Your journey will take you out of the city center to see the New Maiden Convent (UNESCO site) where you will make a stop for memorable photos. You will cross Moscow river to the highest point in Moscow to see the panorama of the city from a hill of 80 meters above sea level. There you'll make a photo stop to capture the Moscow skyline with Russia's biggest football stadium and one of the Stalin Skyscrapers - Moscow State University.

Continuing the scenic drive you will see the Moscow Film Studio, then down the presidential motorcade road - Memorial park of WWII, the White House, New Arbat Street, the Ministry of Defense, the State Library, and Manezh Square.

After a short lunch break, you will visit the heart of Moscow - the Kremlin. On the grounds of Kremlin you will see the hundreds of cannons which were kept as trophies, the biggest cannon and the biggest bell in the world, visit inside Dormition Cathedral where Russian tsars were crowned and see palaces of different centuries.

Then you will visit the Armoury Museum - a collection of ceremonial weapons, Faberge collection, original carriages of 17th-19th c., Russian and European-style crowns decorated with hundreds of diamonds and precious stones, wedding and coronation gowns of Russian empresses, items from church vestry and ambassadorial presents to Russia.

At the end of the tour you'll be taken to Leningradsky Railway Station. The guide will help you find your train that will bring you back to St Petersburg.
