During this one day program...
You will start from the Helsinki’s cruise harbor. The sightseeing drive allows you to explore the main highlights of the city including the Uspenski Cathedral, Sibelius monument, the Ateneum Art Museum, National Gallery, contemporary Kiasma Art Museum, Finlandia Hall, Olympic Stadium and impressive Rock Church, which is a church carved into solid rock.
A visit to the Jewish Synagogue is also made during the tour. You will be able to see its rooms located in the local Jewish Community Center. You will also hear the stories about the life of the Jewish community in Helsinki and will learn more about their interesting history.
In the center of Helsinki is the majestic and classical style Senate Square which offers a view to the impressive Helsinki Cathedral. Helsinki University, National Library and Government Palace surround the area, and statue to the Russian tsar Alexander II is located in the middle of the square.
After you have seen the best sites of Helsinki, you will have some free time at Market Square. The tour ends in the cruise harbor, or if you prefer, the guide will drop you to the city center so that you can have lunch or to do additional shopping and sightseeing on your own.
Please note that inside visits to Rock Church and Helsinki Synagogue cannot be guaranteed in the event of religious services. The tour order may be adjusted based on Rock Church and Helsinki Synagogue opening hours.
