Enjoy breathtaking views of fjords surrounded by hilltops, and stunning architecture —the contemporary National Opera & Ballet building, medieval Akershus Fortress and the City Hall facing Oslo fjord.
During this program...
We will visit the city center and the very heart of Oslo, Karl Johans Gate, named in honor of King Charles III John. The street is connecting the newly built Norwegian Royal Palace with the rest of this stunning city. Here you will admire many Oslo must-sees: the Central Station, Norwegian Parliament, the National Theatre and the old University Buildings.
You will also visit the famous Oslo City Hall , learn about its history, and admire its unique style and architecture. The City Hall is not only an active administrative building but also a celebrated home for the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony. Our tour will continue with a visit to one of the most creative open spaces in Oslo - Frogner Park , there you will find the fascinating collection of Gustav Vigeland sculptures.
In the end of the tour you will return to the cruise port.
