Visa or tour tickets are not required for US and EU citizens in order to disembark in Nynäshamn(Stockholm).

Payment information

  • A 20% deposit must be paid at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due upon your arrival to St. Petersburg. In St. Petersburg you can either pay in cash (only Rubles are accepted) or by credit card;
  • Full payment is required when you book a Baltic excursion without St. Petersburg;
  • After completing your online payment, you will get a payment confirmation.

Cancelation policy

If you or any other member of your party decides to cancel your confirmed booking you must notify us in writing. Deposits are fully refundable 72 hours prior to the date of your (first) tour; deposits are non-refundable within 72 hours prior to the date of your (first) tour. In case of no-show, no refund is granted. Once you’ve paid for the tour (package) in St. Petersburg, no refund is available.

Meeting point

The meeting point is located behind the security gate. Please, make sure to read disembarkation instructions sent through email with other documentation.

Tips and Discounts

  • Children (7 - 17 y.o.)/students get 10% off the tour price.
  • Gratuities to the guide and driver are not included in the tour price. The sum you wish to give to your guide and driver after a well-done tour should be up to the western standards (approximately 15%). It is a good idea to divide gratuity between your guide and driver and give it separately to them: 10% to the guide and 5% to the driver. Please have some cash with you (USD, EUR or RUB) for this reason, but it is always up to you!

DAY 1

 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

09.00 am - 09.50 am

Panoramic ride from Nynäshamn to Stockholm

You will start the tour at Fjällgatan with an unforgettable view of Stockholm, a city built on 14 islands, scattered between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren, yet connected by more than 50 bridges.

10.00 am - 11.00 am

A guided visit of the Vasa Museum

Vasa Museum is listed among the world’s 10 best museums. You will truly be amazed at this well preserved warship from the 17th century, which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 after sailing only a few hundred metres and was salvaged in 1961. After years of conservation, the Vasa ship was housed in the newly built Vasa Museum, which opened to the public in 1990.

Panoramic ride to the Old Town

A guided walk in the Old Town

Stockholm’s Old Town, called Gamla stan, is where the city’s history started. While walking the cobbled streets you will pass the Royal Palace, the Coronation Church, the Market Square with the Nobel Museum, the narrowest alley, the smallest statue, Järnpojke, and much more.

1.00 pm - 2.30 pm

Free time in the Old Town. At this point your guide finishes the tour

In the Old Town you will enjoy free time (90 minutes) to explore its narrow streets, small souvenir boutiques and lovely street cafes. You can also visit the Royal Palace, the Nobel Museum, the Coronation Church – Stockholm Cathedral – on your own. Please note that lunch is NOT included in the tour.

2.30 pm - 3.30 pm

Transfer back to Nynäshamn from Stockholm

Your guide will finish the five-hour tour in Stockholm and then you will head back to your ship docked in Nynäshamn on the same bus. The drive to the port takes about 50 minutes.

DAY 2

 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Panoramic drive from Nynäshamn to Stockholm

10.10 am - 11.10 am

A guided visit of the City Hall – the venue where the Nobel Banquet takes place each year on 10th December

Today’s tour starts at the City Hall (Stadshuset), one of Stockholm’s most popular sights. Its architecture and richly decorated halls are impressive. No wonder the City Hall is the venue for the Nobel Banquet that takes places here each year on 10th December.

While leaving the City Hall you will enjoy the view of the Old Town and the islands of Riddarholmen and Södermalm from its lovely terrace by the waters of Lake Mälaren.

11.20 am- 12.10 pm

A drive to the Old Town with a photo stop at Hötorget Square Konserthuset (Concert Hall), venue for the Nobel Prize Awards Ceremony

Back on the bus we will take a ride through the city centre, stopping at Hötorget Square to take photos of Konserthuset – Stockholm’s Concert Hall, the venue for the Nobel Prize Awards Ceremony. Here at Hötorget Square you will also have the opportunity to walk among the market stands with fruits, flowers and souvenirs.

12.30 pm - 1.15 pm

A guided tour of the Armoury (Livrustkammaren) in the Old Town. At this point your guide finishes the tour

In the Old Town will visit the Royal Armoury (Livrustkammaren) housing items that tell the history of Sweden: war treasures, royal textiles and elegant royal carriages.

After the tour you will have a chance to buy some royal souvenirs in the museum shop before getting back on the bus to Nynäshamn.

1.30 pm – 2.30 pm

Transfer back from Stockholm to Nynäshamn
