Payment and refunds

All settlements in Russia are made in roubles, as required by Article 317 of the Russian Civil Code. Before you pay, we confirm the price, currency and payment method applicable to your booking.

How to pay

  • Foreign-issued Visa or Mastercard through Stripe - when this option is available and we have confirmed it for your booking, we send you a secure Stripe Payment Link. Foreign visitors are not expected to hold a Mir card.
  • Cash in roubles - where we confirm this option for your booking, payable at the agreed time and place.
  • Bank transfer against an invoice - available for eligible group and agency bookings after confirmation by us.

Foreign-issued Visa and Mastercard cards generally do not work at Russian points of sale or through Russian acquiring banks. The Stripe option described above is a separate online payment route and must be confirmed for the particular booking before use.

Payment through Stripe takes place on Stripe’s secure page, not on our Site. LLC “TJ Travel” does not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. Stripe or your card-issuing bank may ask you to authenticate the transaction. The payment currency and final amount are displayed on Stripe’s page before you confirm payment; check them carefully, including any conversion or bank charges that may apply.

After payment, we provide confirmation and any receipt required by applicable law. For invoice payments, the invoice states the payment deadline and bank details.

Cancellations and refunds

Your right to withdraw from the contract is governed by Article 32 of Russian Law No. 2300-1 “On Protection of Consumer Rights” and Article 782 of the Russian Civil Code.

  • You may cancel at any time, subject only to costs that we have actually incurred in performing your booking.
  • If you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start, we refund the full amount unless we have already incurred non-refundable costs. We will identify known non-refundable arrangements before booking where practicable.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled start, we refund the amount paid less our documented, actually incurred costs.
  • Actually incurred costs may include non-refundable admission tickets, reservations and transport or other supplier charges attributable to your booking. They are not an automatic cancellation penalty.
  • If the service was deficient, you have the remedies provided by Article 29 of Law No. 2300-1, including correction where possible, a proportionate price reduction or reimbursement of reasonable correction costs.

Send cancellation and refund requests to info@st-petersburg-tours.ru. Include your booking reference and the payer’s name. Refund claims subject to Article 31 of Law No. 2300-1 are considered within ten days. An approved refund is normally returned through the original payment method where technically possible; Stripe or banking processing times and exchange-rate differences are outside our control.
